Parents and 2 children aged 13 and 11 all become transgender together

A family of four went public with their life-changing experience, which they said has made them all very happy. The family of Queen Creek, Arizona, may look like any other family, a father, a mother, a daughter, 13, and a son, 11. However, they are unique as they all identify as transgender and they now live as the opposite sex of which they were born. Daniel Harrott, 41, who was born a woman and now identifies as a man, said that he always struggled with gender identity.
In an interview, Harriott told Kjzz radio that his grandmother’s sister was known as a “crossdresser.” Her mother always wanted her to be feminine but that did not happen. Harriott married a man and had two children, a boy who is wheelchair bound and a daughter. Last year, when her son wanted to join the Girl Scouts, Harrott was introduced to the term transgender.
“I realized, they are transgender, and I know it’s true because I am, too, and it’s been my whole life,” Harrott said.
Harrott then began dating a transgender woman, Shirley Austin, 62, and the two got engaged. Harrott got a short haircut and began dressing and identifying as a man. Her children transitioned as well. Joshua, who was a male at birth, now identifies as a girl, and her younger sibling, Mason, 11, who was a female at birth, now identifies as a boy.
