Masked teen rapes neighbor at knife-point and offers to do yard work as compensation

A mother of two children was left traumatized after a masked man broke into her home and raped her at knife-point.  The Florida suspect was arrested for breaking into his neighbor's house and raping her before asking whether he could do yard work to make up for the assault. 18-year-old Timothy Adam Walding of Boynton Beach, was charged with three counts of sexual assault with a weapon and one count each of burglary and false imprisonment. The victim, who has not been named, told police that she woke up in the middle of the night to find the masked man standing over her.
The suspect placed his hand over her mouth and told her not to scream while holding a knife at her neck. Walding then tied the mother of two in a bed and proceeded to rape her. After the assault ended, the victim said that the suspect began talking to her.
Walding insisted that the victim knew who he was and he finally identified himself to her by removing his mask. According to the arrest report, Walding told the woman: "You really should deadbolt your door because I didn’t really want to do this, but I had to do it."
Walding then untied the woman so they can both go outside to smoke a cigarette.
While talking to the woman, Walding asked if he could do yard work or fix things in her house as compensation for the rape.
The woman said "no."
Walding told the woman that he did not want to kill her because his own mother died when he was 12-years-old and he "could not imagine leaving two children without a mother."
The woman told police that Walding said he would join the army so that "it would not be awkward" living next to each other.
After talking to the woman for about an hour and a half, Walding finally left. The victim returned home and called police.
