Woman who scratched Lexus and waited for owner to confess gets rewarded with fully paid college tuition

A woman in China, was terrified when she accidentally hit and scratched a Lexus with her motorcycle. The owner was not around to witness the accident. While the 18-year-old student, who was identified as Zhang, could have fled the scene and get away with it, she chose not do so. Zhang, who is a freshman visual communications student at the Baoshan Academy School of Art and Design in Yunnan, said that she was driving her motorcycle when she accidentally hit the parked black Lexus sedan while negotiating a curve.
Zhang comes from a poor family, and did not have the money to pay for the damage she caused, but she decided to wait for the owner of the luxury vehicle and take responsibility. Zhang said that she waited for one hour in the hot sun until the car's owner returned.  She apologized and offered to make payments until the damage is paid for.
The owner of the vehicle said that he saw the woman standing beside his car. "She seemed to be in panic and scared," he said.
After he learned that Zhang had waited for an hour, the car owner was deeply touched. He told Zhang that she does not have to pay for the damage. The man said that Zhang immediately burst into tears and thanked him profusely for saving her from the burden of a heavy debt. When the car owner's boss heard about the woman's honesty, he offered to pay her college tuition for the next 4 years.
In addition, he offered her a position in the company when she graduates from college.
