Female fire-breather from Ireland suffers horrific burns while showing off skills to friends in United States

A woman who is known for fire-breathing while dancing on a pole or standing on her partner, suffered horrific burns while showing off her skills to her friends. 38-year-old Jo Robinson traveled to the United States from Ballyclare, Ireland, to judge a pole dancing competition. The mother of three children was in Chicago, Illinois, where the competition took place. After the competition, Robinson's friends asked her to teach them how to fire breathe.
Robinson agreed, but her impromptu performance backfired. Robinson said that she took a mouthful of camping oil instead paraffin, which ignited on her body. The entertainer suffered severe burns to her face, chest, hands, lungs and throat. So far, she racked up medical bills for about £18,500. Robinson had travel insurance for the trip, but fire-breathing is not covered.
