Officers arrest alligator and place it in handcuffs for trespassing on private property

A fire department posted a video to social media, showing the moment police officers placed handcuffs on an alligator. According to the video that was posted to Facebook by St. Tammany Fire Protection District #1, a homeowner called the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries to “evict” a large alligator, which made itself at home inside the garage of their home in Slidell. The officers entered the garage and used a special contraption made of a rope and metal to trap the animal. Once the metal piece was secured around the alligator, the officer dragged it outside of the home.

However, the alligator did not go down without a fight. It resisted and rolled around while making noise. “He's got a lot of fight in him,” a man was heard saying about the strong willed alligator. After a few intense moments, one officer managed to tape its mouth shut while another officer used two pairs of handcuffs to put on the alligator’s hind legs.
