Groom jailed for life after raping stranger hours before marrying his fiancée

A groom-to-be has been jailed for life with nine years minimum for raping a stranger in a park, hours before marrying his pregnant fiancée. Predatory Derry McCann, 28, launched his horrific two-hour assault on the day of his wedding - a decade after he was jailed over another parkland rape. It was revealed played "mind games" after dragging the woman into the undergrowth in a park in east London on January 13.He taunted her by asking what she thought he would do next, Snaresbrook Crown Court was told.
