Miss South Africa 2017


Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters was crowned Miss South Africa 2017 on Sunday night at the Sun City Superbowl. The 21-year-old from Sedgefield, Western Cape went ahead of Boipelo Mabe who was crowned the second runner-up and Adè van Heerden who came as first runner-up to win the 59th annual beauty pageant.
 Demi who is entitled to R1-millon in cash, as well as a bouquet of other prizes will represent South Africa at both the Miss World and Miss Universe pageants. She was crowned by the previous winner, Ntandoyenkosi Kunene.
