Tour guide killed in crocodile attack

Le Bonheur Crocodile Farm

A tour guide has died after being attacked by crocodiles in Paarl, South Africa. The tragedy occurred at the Le Bonheur Crocodile Farm on Saturday. Management at the farm says the tragedy will be thoroughly investigated. Meanwhile, crocodile pond tours have been suspended until Saturday while the probe is carried out. It's unclear what tour guide Johan Burger was doing in the crocodile enclosure. Burger has been described as a multi-talented artist and landscaper. He joined the Le Bonheur team on a part-time basis in 2015. Scores of people from around the world, who have previously visited Le Bonheur, have taken to the farm's Facebook page to offer their condolences.
