Father drowned daughter in revenge for wife leaving him

6-year-old Keziah (L) and her mum (R)

A father drowned his six-year-old daughter and placed her body in a bed next to their dead dogs to punish his wife for leaving him. Darren Flux-Edmonds, 44, drowned his daughter Keziah in the bathtub of the family home in East Cowes, Isle of Wight, and then hanged himself. The young girl's body was found on a bed in the master bedroom with her arms wrapped around her beloved terrier dogs, Arnie and Maximus, who were also believed to have been drowned by her father.
According to Daily Mirror, before killing himself Flux-Edmonds, who suffered from depression, sent his wife Nikki a chilling text message just 25 minutes after she left the house for work.

The long message began with

"Congratulations" and ended with: "You have left me with nothing, I'll leave you with only memories."
Mrs Flux-Edmonds had separated from Darren after 12 years of marriage and he was living with his mother June Flux at her home in April this year.
