3 and 5-year-old kids steal mum’s SUV and try to drive to grandmother’s house before crashing it


Police launched an investigation after two young kids stole their mother’s SUV before crashing it into another car, according to police in Washington.  The Federal Way Police Department said that the 5-year-old and the 3-year-old kids wanted to go and visit their grandmother without telling anyone on Tuesday around 11:00 a.m. No one was seriously injured when the children drove into an intersection and t-boned another vehicle. The driver of the car suffered minor cuts and bruises.




So far, no charges have been filed. Witnesses at the scene said that they heard a loud crash before rushing over to the SUV. They expected to see an adult, but they only saw the two young children. They waited for the mother to come, but nobody showed up. When the children were asked where their mother was, they said that she was sleeping. The children conformed that they wanted to visit their grandmother. Police said that the kids managed to start the engine of the SUV and drive to the Southwest 317th Place and 21st Avenue Southwest intersection, where they crashed into a Volvo.
