This pair allegedly forced a 14-year-old girl to have sex with 288 men

A man and a woman were arrested on a charge of prostitution after allegedly pimping out a 14-year-old girl to 288 men, according to police in Maryland. Silver Spring police said that they have arrested 34-year-old Atuan Saran Rogers and 19-year-old Dierra Victoria Lee Thomas, after being accused of forcing the 14-year-old girl to have sex with 288 men at a hotel. The two suspects were charged with prostitution while Rogers was also charged with human trafficking. Rogers was booked into the Montgomery County Detention Center, and his bail was set at $80,000.
Bail for Thomas, who was also charged with conspiracy to commit human trafficking, has been set at $5,000. According to the criminal complaint, Rogers and Thomas approached the teenager while she was in a hotel with friends. Shortly thereafter, the girl met the couple at a hotel in Silver Spring and she began working as a prostitute for about 2 and a half months. The teen told police that after being approached by the couple, she contacted them by phone and through Instagram. Rogers promised the teen $100 to $200 for sex acts. During the months she worked for the couple, she had sex with men three to four days a week, and was forced to have sex with about eight to 10 people a day. She was not given any money, and was hit in the face when she said that she did not want to have sex.
