Lewis Hamilton dedicates Canadian Grand Prix win to Muhammad Ali

Lewis Hamilton won the Canadian Grand Prix and dedicated his victory toMuhammad Ali , who died last week. The Brit closed the gap to teammate Nico Rosberg at the top of the Drivers' Championship to just nine points after the German finished fifth. As he took the chequered flag, Hamilton said on his team radio: "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. That was for Muhammad Ali."
A tactical error from Ferrari gifted Hamilton victory after Sebastian Vettel had leapfrogged both Mercedes cars at the start. Ferrari opted to pit the former world champion twice, allowing Hamilton to take his fifth Montreal victory.
