‘Chewbacca mom’ gets her own action figure

Candace Payne, from Texas, became a 'celebrity' overnight thanks to a four-minute Facebook Live video she streamed on her profile. She's since been invited to Facebook HQ, shared a carpool with James Corden and reportedly received over $400,000 worth of gifts. But now she's got the ultimate confirmation that she's 'made it' after Hasbro produced her very own action figure. The custom-made figure, given to Payne at Hasbro headquarter, features 13 catchphrases including: “That’s not me making that noise, it’s the mask,” “I am such a happy Chewbacca,” and of course her signature laugh, Entertainment Weekly reports.

Payne wrote on Instagram: “Thanks SO much, HASBRO. You literally rolled out the red carpet for me and my family. Thanks for making play so much fun!”
Her infectious laugh meant the video, made on May 19, was shared millions of times. It's since been viewed on the social network 157million times (and has probably been viewed millions more times on other sites).
