Bayern Munich has revealed at a special news conference that Robert Lewandowski has finally been bestowed with not one, not two, but four official Guinness World Record certificates all attained as a result of his incredible five-goal haul against Wolfsburg back in September. Having come on as a half-time substitute, the Polish striker wasted little time in steering home five goals in the space of just nine minutes -- thus breaking a series of long-standing domestic records.
First came the fastest Bundesliga hat trick (3 minutes, 22 seconds), swiftly followed by the fastest four goals in a Bundesliga match (5 minutes, 42 seconds) and the fastest five goals in a Bundesliga match (8 minutes, 59 seconds).
In the process, he also topped off his quick-fire afternoon's work by breaking the record for the most goals scored by a substitute in a Bundesliga match (five).
