Toddler dies in scorching car after father accidentally forgot to drop her at nursery

2-year-old Kristina
“I killed her, I killed her” was the frantic cry of a 57-year-old Slovakia man when he returned to his car after work six hours later, only to find his 2-year-old daughter’s lifeless body still trapped in her child’s seat.
Joseph Kurak had apparently driven to his daughter Kristina’s nursery that morning before heading to work, and was convinced he had dropped her off. But six hours later, when he returned to his car intending to go and collect her, he saw her lifeless body in the seat. Upon his discovery, the devastated father yelled at passers-by: 'I killed her!.

Black Volkswagen in which Kristina died
According to the police who are now investigating the incident, temperature in the park was as high as 36C on that day. It is believed she suffocated with burn marks and blisters found on her skin, after being left in the black Volkswagen from between 9am to 3pm. Paramedics were called but they were unable to revive her. Kristina's mother Katarína quickly arrived at the scene and was pictured clinging desperately to her partner as the pair sobbed
