Drunk man launches fireworks mortar on his head, killing him

The 4th of July celebration went wrong for 22 year old Davon Staples when he tried to launch a firework off the top of his head, killing him instantly. Davon and his friends were said to have been drinking and setting off fireworks in the backyard of a friend's home in eastern Maine.
McCausland, a spokesman for the state department said "Apparently, he thought that it was a great idea, his friends they thought dissuaded him from doing it, and the next thing they knew, he ignited the fireworks and he was killed instantly."
What a way to celebrate!
