Transition of a 10 year old transgender

                                                                  Lia Hegarty                                    (C)Facebook
When adults make the decision to change their sexuality because they feel their gender identity does not match the gender that was 'assigned'  to them at birth, we relate with them because we feel they are matured enough to take such decision. However, when a minor feels the need to do the same, I cant but ask, should age be an important criteria before being allowed to take such a decision? Afterall, if there are age limits to getting married, driving, buying alchohol etc, shouldnt there be an age limit to gender transition?

World's Ugliest Animal

The blobfish (Psychrolutes marcidus) is an extremely rare deep sea fish, found off the coasts of mainland Australia and Tasmania, as well as the waters of New Zealand. They have no skeleton and no real muscles as they are simply made up of jelly-like substance. Because of their low density flesh, the blobfish's shape is very different when out of water.
The blobfish was voted the "World's Ugliest Animal" in September 2013. The initiative was to draw attention to some of the world's endangered species that are close to extinction.

The gesture clearly sent the message: Do not leave your car in a disabled parking space without an official badge! What would you do???

This picture has been trending since father's day but can we just sit back for a minute and ask ourselves, "What would I do if my daughter/son did this to my new car on father/mother's day?". A reader said: " I will buy her an expensive phone and write boldly on the screen 'I love you too sweetheart!'". Don't you think the age of the child should be a determining factor for your reaction....if you are going to react at all!
